We only have two rooms to offer guests providing excellent value for the seasoned traveller. We enjoy a relaxed house and hope we can share some of its tranquility with you in a peaceful secluded setting. Indeed many of our guests return to Broomfields Country House.
Breakfast is served in our beautiful Dining Hall where guests enjoy a large communal table and our faithful woodburner to keep them cosy.
In the warmer months guests can sit and relax on the terrace enjoying the manicured lawns and beautiful garden.
We offer Free Wi-Fi, off-street parking, and are smoke-free.

The Bemersyde and Melrose Area
We are located in the quiet village of Bemersyde on the River Tweed just three miles from Melrose and we nestle between the famous Scott’s View and Dryburgh Abbey. We are just off the A68 and ten minutes from the new Border Railway Station at Tweedbank giving easy access to Edinburgh in under an hour. We have the Wallace Statue as our neighbour and the whole area is steeped in history. Abbotsford House, Melrose and Jedburgh Abbey are all nearby. The Coast with its stunning beaches at Bamburgh, Coldingham and St Abbs are within easy reach. We are on the famous St Cuthbert’s Way which is a popular walking route from Melrose to Holy Island. The Sustrans Cycle routes can be found on our doorstep.
